This Privacy Policy explains how Eashgroup — East Africa Smart Hub ("Eashgroup," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit eashgroup.com or use the employee portal at portal.eashgroup.com. By using either site, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Contact form. When you submit the contact form on eashgroup.com, we collect your name, email address, the division you selected, and your message. This is sent to our team via a third-party email delivery service (see Subprocessors).
Employee portal. Signing in to portal.eashgroup.com uses Google Sign-In. We receive the basic profile information Google shares on authentication — your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.
Automatically collected data. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) automatically logs standard technical information for every visit — IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed — for security and reliability purposes.
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not sell personal data.
3. How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form

4. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate the site and portal — for hosting, authentication, and email delivery. These providers only process the minimum data needed to perform their function. See our full Subprocessors page for the current list.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
The public website (eashgroup.com) does not set tracking or advertising cookies. The employee portal (portal.eashgroup.com) uses browser local storage to keep you signed in between visits — this is functional, not used for tracking, and is scoped only to the portal.
6. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry. Employee portal authentication data is retained for as long as your access remains authorized, and is removed when access is revoked.
7. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for business audiences and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. International Data Transfers
Eashgroup operates across Djibouti, Ethiopia, and France. Data may be processed on infrastructure located outside your own country, including through our hosting provider's global infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to ensure data is protected wherever it is processed.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
